Role: The co-ordination and implementation of the county's strategic plan in consultation with the management committee via the planning of yearly operational action plans. Line management of Cavan CCC staff and networking and collaboration with relevant local, regional and national agencies.

Role: To manage the company’s payroll and finances. To maintain administrative systems /structures within the company. Maintain and update our website.

INFORMATION & TRAINING OFFICER
HELENA O'SHANNON

Role: To carry out the information actions of the yearly action plans, such as newsletter editions, summer camp booklet and other publications. Maintain & update our library. Oversee publicity for the company. Organising training & dealing with any queries relating to this.

 

SUPPORT & DEVELOPMENT OFFICE 

CAROLINE MAGUIRE & JACKIE KNIGHT
Role: Provide ongoing support, advice, information and assistance to existing and potential community or privately based childcare services including existing and potential childminders. Covering areas such as developing a quality service, funding applications, identifying and implement training needs, recruitment & staffing issues, regulations etc . Assisting parents with issues such as choosing childcare, regulations and training.

FAMILY OUTREACH WORKERS
DARINA LYNCH & NORA KENNEDY

The Family Outreach Workers project aims to empower fathers, mothers and guardians, in the home throughout the county with children under 12 years.

Role: The Family Outreach Workers offer a flexible range of social and practical support skills which builds on the existing services provided by the statutory and community and voluntary sector. Areas of support that the Family Outreach Workers will cover within the family home are:
Health, Education, Positive Parenting Skills, Daily Routines, Parent Craft and Baby Care, Parent Advocacy, Social and Community Integration, Home Management Skills etc.

The Family Outreach service can be accessed through your local Public Health Nurse or Doctor who can make a referral to the service.
