The Chatterbox Service is a unique collaboration between the HSE and Cavan/Monaghan County Childcare Committees. Our aims are to increase access to Speech and Language Therapy services for all preschool age children within the counties of Cavan and Monaghan. The Chatterbox Service provides speech and language screens for children in the preschools, these screens help to identify children with speech and language needs, this helps us work towards an early intervention and prevention approach to speech and language therapy.
The Chatterbox leaflet is aimed at giving those working with children in the pre school setting a better idea of the work we do within the Chatterbox Service and helping them better understand why we do it. The Chatterbox poster is available for Childcare services to put them up on the wall within your service.
