You can use the service for the full day or week; however the reduced rate for only a part time rate will apply, meaning you will pay the difference Parents will be asked by the childcare service to complete a Parental Declaration Form in September of the relevant year. You will need your PPS number. They may also ask you for proof or evidence of entitlement to either Band A or B so they can start offering you the reduced rate before the Dept verifies the information (as sometimes this can take a while).
If you want further information on the scheme please contact either Cavan County Childcare Committee or your local participating community based childcare service.
